Mira Lira invites you to make a shift in our traditional ways of thinking and prioritizes, above all else, your child's SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL readiness during their early years.
This INCLUDES providing all students with an inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity, culture, language and kindness.

Mira Lira is entirely self-supporting and depends upon tuition for its operation.
Tuition is based on a four-week pay period.
Each month is divided into four weeks. Tuition is paid weekly every Monday.
Paid tuition secures your child’s spot at Mira Lira and is not based on attendance.
We cannot guarantee makeup days if a child is absent due to our limited class size/availability.
A two-weeks advance notice (in writing) must be given if your child is being withdrawn from the program. Tuition must be paid until the end of that two-week period. Registration fee is non-refundable. Late payment and/or return payment will include a late fee.
We offer a snack and lunch time each day. We will provide snacks but children are welcome to bring their own snack if they prefer or have major food allergies.
Make sure to send your child to school with a lunch, snack (if they prefer to bring their own), and 1-2 water bottles.
As we prioritize the health and well-being of our students, we always ensure to wash hands before snack times.
Please send your child wearing comfortable play clothes and tennis shoes or boots. Sandals and dress shoes are not appropriate for our learning spaces and can be dangerous on play equipment.
Due to it being an all outdoor learning space, we encourage to dress your child based on the weather and what will keep them cool, warm and or dry. Remember that your child will be involved in painting, water play, and other messy play experiences so we encourage clothing that you won’t mind getting dirty because messy and creative play is highly encouraged. Make sure to send your child to school with a change of clothes just in case.
Please label all items, including clothes, water bottles, backpacks, and lunchboxes that your child brings.
In order to attend Mira Lira, your child must be:
Free of any fever for 24 hours
Free of any vomiting for 24-hours
If your child is exhibiting any symptoms (runny nose, cough, sneezing, etc.) please alert us to discuss severity to determine if your child is well enough to attend the program that day. Please use your own discretion, while being respectful to limit the spread of germs to our household and the rest of the children in the class.
Mira Lira is operated out of a Christian home property. Although we will not be teaching any Christian doctrine or biblical stories in our curriculum, we will be celebrating Christian holidays such as Christmas and Easter and pray before our meals.
Birthdays may be celebrated with a special treat at snack time. Suggested snacks include: fresh fruit, cookies, fruit popsicles or yogurt bars. We do not allow home made items.
Must be in a sealed container.
DO NOT SEND cakes, candy, or gum.
Please schedule your child’s birthday celebration in advance with the teacher.
Because our learning is not designed in the traditional sense, we want to ensure that our program at Mira Lira is the right fit for your child.
Please take note that -
ALL of our learning is done outdoors.
We truly embrace the weather wether its sunny or raining.
We utilize it as an element to our learning.
Of Course, we do have some covered area options in case of severe weather.
We will accommodate and always keep the safety of our students a priority.
We secretly love rainy days - they make for the best mud pies ;)
